Terms of Service
Terms of Service for the StudyArcade mobile application. For the End User License Agreement (EULA), please see the Apple Licensed Application Standard EULA.
Licensed Application End User License Agreement
Apps made available through the App Store are licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to the StudyArcade app ("Licensed Application") is subject to your prior acceptance of the Apple Licensed Application Standard EULA. This Terms of Service agreement is between you and StudyArcade ("Application Provider" or "Licensor") and governs your use of the StudyArcade app beyond what is covered by the standard EULA.
External Services
The Licensed Application may enable access to Licensor's and/or third-party services and websites (collectively and individually, "External Services"). These include but are not limited to:
- Anthropic Claude AI for game generation
- Google AdMob for advertisements
- Google Cloud Vision for image text extraction
- Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications
- RevenueCat for subscription management
You agree to use the External Services at your sole risk. Licensor is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of any third-party External Services, and shall not be liable for any such third-party External Services. Data displayed by any Licensed Application or External Service, including but not limited to educational content, AI-generated games, and learning analytics, is for general informational purposes only and is not guaranteed by Licensor or its agents.
You will not use the External Services in any manner that is inconsistent with the terms of this agreement or that infringes the intellectual property rights of Licensor or any third party. You agree not to use the External Services to harass, abuse, stalk, threaten or defame any person or entity, and that Licensor is not responsible for any such use. External Services may not be available in all languages or in your Home Country, and may not be appropriate or available for use in any particular location. To the extent you choose to use such External Services, you are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable laws. Licensor reserves the right to change, suspend, remove, disable or impose access restrictions or limits on any External Services at any time without notice or liability to you.
Additional Terms for StudyArcade
AI-Generated Content
StudyArcade uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to generate interactive learning games based on your vocabulary. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying the correctness of any vocabulary, translations, or educational material generated by the app.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
StudyArcade offers a free version with ads and an optional Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are managed via RevenueCat. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the applicable app store's terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings.
User Content
You retain ownership of any vocabulary, study sets, or other content you create within the app. StudyArcade does not claim ownership over your content. Your content is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us unless you explicitly send it to our server for AI game generation, in which case it is used solely for that purpose.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use StudyArcade to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to circumvent ads, subscription requirements, or other access controls
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's services, servers, or networks
- Use automated means to access the app or its services beyond normal app usage
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
Age Requirement
StudyArcade is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by local law). If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
